This A-Zoom microscope Digital controller is for use with the lamplink2 illuminator, and the A-Zoom probing microscope system. Firstly, this Digital version allows straightforward adjustment of the microscope zoom system and simultaneous control over the lamplink2 illumination intensity. In Addition this version will save five preferred zoom and illumination settings with simple push to save / push to recall functionality.
Most importantly, Its available as a direct replacement for increasingly aging controllers, due to no longer being available from the original manufacturer. In this case Optem / Qioptiq. In conclusion, A-Zoom owners can keep older A-Zoom and A-zoom2 microscopes functioning correctly with this backwards compatible microscope zoom and illumination controller.
