Navitar Precise Eye lenses are the ideal solution for high magnification fixed inspection applications. Designed to provide superior optical performance and high vibration stability for C-mount digital cameras. Precise Eye lenses feature high-resolution, diffraction-limited f/4.5 optical quality for high precision measurement and inspection.
The Navitar Precise Eye system consists of two iterations of its Body Tubes (tube lenses) both Standard Body Tubes and Ultra Body Tubes. The standard body tubes work with lower lens attachments, providing excellence where users require longer working distances, wider FOV’s and lower magnification. The Ultra Body Tubes work with infinity corrected Plan Apo objective lenses such as Mitutoyo, where higher magnification and super high resolution are key performance attributes.

Modular Options
Precise Eye lens systems are modular and offer the ability to change magnification and working distance by changing the lens attachments or the adapter tubes. Optional Functions include:
- Apertures: Allows the user to adjust light intensity and depth of field – DOF.
- Non-Fine Focus: Perfect for applications where working distance, magnification and FOV are fixed. No further adjustments after instal.
- Fine Focus: For applications without external focusing, Fine Focus body tubes offer 3mm Z axis adjustment (coaxial models only)
- Polarizer: Convert scattered light into polarized light by selective absorption of rays in one direction and passing of rays perpendicular to the polarizing medium. Reduce reflection and improve vision clarity.
- Coaxial Illumination: AKA On-axis illumination and is effective when imaging reflective surfaces such as metals. Coaxial illumination ports add collimated, diffused, and uniform illumination to the system.

Navitar Precise Eye Lenses can be configured to include Near IR coatings for increased wavelength focusing ability at high resolution. Enabling imaging optimisation in the 700-1550nm wavelength range.
