Embarking on our first build of the Navitar Resolv4k lens series, we tailored this system to meet the precise optical requirements of a client’s unique application. The challenge at hand was to facilitate transmission within the 1200nm to 1700nm range, aligning seamlessly with their pre-acquired IR-sensitive camera.
Leveraging the Navitar Resolv4K system, we implemented the lens coating upgrade option specifically designed for SWIR transmission, ensuring optimal performance within the specified wavelength range. Recognizing the client’s need for a constant Field of View (FOV), we strategically opted for the Resolv4k fixed magnification module instead of a zoom, a choice that not only met the desired specifications but also contributed to cost savings and heightened transmission efficiency.
To achieve the desired performance, we meticulously paired the Resolv4k fixed magnification module with the appropriate adaptor tubes and supplementary front lens. The result was a seamlessly integrated system that precisely aligned with the user’s expectations and application requirements.
Despite the highly customised nature of these upgraded systems, we expedited the delivery process, ensuring that the client received their tailored solution in record time. Our commitment to efficiency and responsiveness sets us apart in delivering top-notch solutions to our clients.
